Now remove the protective film that comes on the bathroom tray (i.e. if your tray came with one). Now fix the waste trap pipe to the bathroom tray. Make sure you cover all naked threads with some kind of insulating tape; masking tape works best. Make a mixture of PVA, fine sand and cement and place it on the area where the shower tray needs to be fixed and then place the bathroom tray on top (along the marked area).

Once the cement sets, remove all excess from the surrounding area and remove the masking tape from the waste pipe. Check if the bathroom tray is fit as required and test it for water proofing. Also check whether the drain line is working correctly. Now fill the excess are around the waste outlet with cement. This is necessary to ensure proper support under the tray. Clean the tiling line with silicone cleaning agent and then seal with silicone sealant.
